Vestibular Rehabiliation

Vestibular therapy is based on an exercise-based program to assist patients who have balance difficulties related to inner ear deficits. This type of therapy is a specialty, and can serve to assist patients with various vestibular/balance issues including benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) and labyrinthitis.

The goal of vestibular therapy is to help patients learn about activities that provoke their symptoms, and to assist in desensitizing the balance system. At PSPT, patients who struggle with vestibular impairments or have issues with their balance are given one on one attention and goal-specific treatment plans are derived to achieve their goal of improved balance.
